LIC Assistant Exam Notification
LIC or Life Insurance Corporation is a statutory corporation which came into existence on 1st September 1956. LIC headquarter is in Mumbai and it is the largest insurance company in India.
LIC will release the official notification to fill vacancies for LIC Assistant in their respective zones soon. The detailed notification can be downloaded from the LIC official website.This page contains all the details of the exam dates , selection procedure , exam pattern and syllabus and every minute details that a candidate must be aware of.
LIC Assistant Exam pattern
LIC Assistant Exam consists of two stages- preliminary and mains with different time allocation for each section. There will be section- wise and overall cutoff.Marks obtained in the Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability will decide a candidate call for the mains provided he/she obtained a minimum qualifying marks in the English Language /Hindi Language. There will be no interview.
LIC Assistant 2022 Prelims Exam pattern
LIC Assistant preliminary is the first stage for further selection procedure. heLIC Assistant prelims consist of three sections-English Language/Hindi Language,Numerical Ability and Reasoning Ability.Each section have a specified time limit with certain number of question.Further details are given in the table-

The Second stage for the LIC Assistant exam is the mains which consist of five sections-General English,Quantitative Aptitude,Reasoning and Computer Aptitude,Hindi Language and General Awareness with separate timings for each section.Further details about timing and question can be get from below-

LIC Assistant Educational Criteria
To be eligible for filling the LIC Assistant Exam form, candidate is required to possess a Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from any recognized university. Further there is some educational relaxation for ex-servicemen. The detailed educational criteria for LIC Assistant exam 2022 can be inferred from the table below-

LIC Assistant Age criteria
For filling LIC Assistant 2022 a candidate should be a citizen of India and should not be less than 18 years and more than 30 years as on the mentioned date. Before a candidate applies for LIC Assistant 2022 Exam, he/she should be aware of the complete eligibility criteria. The official notification of LIC Assistant Exam mentions the complete criteria with the educational qualification & age. The candidate can refer to the table given below for further details-

LIC Assistant Age Relaxation
LIC provides an additional age relaxation facility to some reserved categories. The relaxation is on the upper age limit of the candidates. Categories like SC/ST/OBC etc are included and will be eligible for this relaxation. The relaxation years vary among all the reserved categories. The table below provides the details-

LIC Assistant Exam Dates
LIC will release the tentative schedule for the objective type online mode examination in its official notification. Dates for the second stage ie mains may or may not be announced in the notification. For any change in the LIC Assistant examination date candidates are advised to visit the official website regularly.

LIC Assistant Salary
A candidate appointed as LIC Assistant will have a basic pay starting from Rs 14435.The total gross emoluments approximately amount to Rs 30,000.Besides this other perks like house rent allowance,city allowance ,medical benefits etc are applicable.
LIC Assistant Pay Scale: 11435-840(1) -15275 – 915(2) – 17105 – 1030(5) – 22255 – 1195(2) – 24645 – 1455(3) – 29010 -1510(2) – 32030– 1610(5) – 40080.
Basic Pay: Rupees 14435/- per month
Gross Monthly emoluments: Rupees 30,000 approx
Along with this an LIC Assistant is eligible to various other allowances such as House Rent Allowance, City Compensatory Allowance(CCA), Dearness Allowance(DA), Lunch allowance, Insurance Allowance and Defined Contributory pension, Gratuity, LTC.

LIC Assistant Mains is the second stage which will be held in online mode.It consist of specified number of questions for different sections with separate sectional timings.Candidates need to qualify in each section. All the section are same but it is mentioned in the official notification that English Language is for East,South and South Central zones and English and Hindi Language for North,West,Central,East Central and North Central zones.
